The College Democrats hosted a “Victory Party” to watch CNN Live results of the tallied electoral votes for the 2012 Presidential Election.

The event featured refreshments and the sale of College Democrat t-shirts. Students were able to converse with likeminded individuals to cheer on their favorite candidate.

CNN projected an Obama-win around 10:30PM, which brought the College Democrats to their feet.

“The College Democrats have worked hard over the past few months for tonight’s victory,” College Democrats President Louis Duke said. “We couldn’t be prouder to see our President reelected and see the man who stands up for college students so much sent back four more years in the White House.”
